Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Representation matters and is reflected in our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Identifying, hiring, developing and supporting a diverse range of exceptional talent is not only the right thing to do but also good for business.   Research shows organizations committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership teams are higher performing, better able to attract and retain the best talent and stronger financially. While the business case for diversity, equity, and inclusion is clear, much work remains to be done in many organizations, to promote social justice, ensure equality for all, and build high performing organizations that reflect society as a whole.

At Ellig Group, we know organizations need to reflect all their constituents: employees, consumers, communities, and shareholders. We are – and always have been – committed to supporting organizations in their efforts to evolve their diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through talent acquisition and leadership development programs. In fact, over the past 5 years, 80% of our executive placements and 85% of our board appointments have been exceptional leaders from traditionally underrepresented communities, including women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, veterans and people with disabilities.

Our clients choose to work with us because they know that, as a certified woman-owned executive search and leadership consulting firm and member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, is our very foundation and demonstrated by our unparalleled track record of helping organizations build diverse cultures.

With a 40-year legacy in executive search (the foundation of our firm’s practice) we know that the work we do is a critical element of our client’s efforts in these areas and we will continue to work with them to identify ways that together, we can infuse the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion into their culture. We partner closely and purposefully with our clients and candidates before, during, and after the search to ensure the right person is in the right position, with the right organization. We believe in like-minded partnerships and encourage representation, feedback, and fairness right from the beginning

Delivering on Diversity – Ellig Group has been the leader in identifying, recruiting, developing, and onboarding a diverse range of executive talent for executive -level appointments in the C-suite and boardroom for many years. Helping organizations build inclusive cultures is the cornerstone of our mission. We are proud that, in 2019, that 100% of our candidate “panels” included women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and executives from other traditionally underrepresented communities. Furthermore, our long-term and unsurpassed track record of executive placements is unsurpassed: 80% of our c-suite placements over the past five years and 85% of our board director appointment for more than a decade were leaders from traditionally underrepresented communities.

Delivering on Equity – It is not enough to simply add new directors from traditionally underrepresented communities to a board. Organizations must ensure that their governance operating model is transformed so that a wide range of voices and perspectives, representing the full scope of employees, consumers, communities, and shareholders, are heard. We advise boards on how to evolve their culture to support equity in the boardroom and throughout the organization. Our Board Advisory Services practice delivers distinctive insights and solutions on the most strategic elements of governance, including value-driven director and CEO succession planning and ongoing board skill development and education.

Delivering on Inclusion – We offer a range of carefully curated solutions to support organizations in the necessary and important work of ensuring representation and creating a culture of inclusion within all levels of the workforce. In addition to our Executive Search, Board Advisory Services and Executive Coaching solutions, we provide Talent Mapping and Succession Planning services to identify and source exceptional leaders, build bench strength in key functions, and foster an environment of innovative thinkers who encourage an open and inclusive dialogue. We also provide Team & Individual Assessments solutions to identify existing areas of excellence, as well opportunities to strengthen leadership and culture.
