Episode 17: “Championing the Future of Children”
Prior to being named the seventh Executive Director at UNICEF, Henrietta had a two track career – In the corporate world as CEO and Chair of a manufacturing and investment company, and prior in public service: Henrietta was the 37th Director of the United States Mint in the U.S. Department of Treasury; served as Under Secretary of State for Management, the Chief Operating Officer for the U.S. Department of State; Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID); and as Director of United States Foreign Assistance. We would like to highlight that Henrietta was the first woman to serve in each of these roles.
